I had to get this upgrade to Pro 2 in order to use my D90 and new Ds. I’m only giving this 3 Stars for these 2 reasons. At least the Upgrades should be free for people who own prior versions.
But it’s just like Nikon to bring out new equipment and none of your previous accessories will work. After I got over the horror of the thought of having to try and contact «Nikon Technical Support» another issue an idea came to me. I’d better check for «Updates».. Lo and Behold there was one and after waiting 15 minutes for it to download to my laptop,,, everything worked..
Nowhere could I find on the box containing the Upgrade CD does it mention anything about the possibility of the need to check for Upadates nor is anything mention in the included PDF Manual. It clearly states on the box it supports both the D90 and Ds and one would assume they would work right out of the box.. So what should have taken 10 minutes,,, took me a couple hours Thus only 3 Stars See all reviews.
