Microsovt in activation you are not given the option to use phone activation, and you are in the US this is the activation phone. Call again, if a profesional version they cannot refuse the professionzl, nor can they tell you to contact support or MS Answers as neither of those can help. Not supported only means that no queries will be answered and Office updates are not available, Activation is not a query.
That is right, is no longer supported, the average MS support person won’t give you the time of day if you talk about there are one or two exceptions.
