But watch out — you might get a Farkle. It is quick and easy to learn, but takes some concentration to master the strategy. You can also stop the game at any time and pick up right where you left off.
If this were all it offered, Farkle would be a mainstay in my stable of games. Add in the smoothly drawn graphics, six different player characters which effectively means a variety of skill levels and various customization options, and Farkle is a must play for anyone who enjoys a simple game of chance or, a really long train ride. The game remains the focus, allowing players to concentrate on the action and strategies.
It is very simple, with an easy to understand screen layout and no superfluous graphics or sound. The only animation is the dice rolling, but this does not detract in any way from the game’s appearance. Farkle is easy to learn, but difficult to master, and I’m sure it could quickly become compulsive. Highly recommended. Once in a while, the player manages to use all six dice either in one or several rolls.
If the player farkles in any of these bonus rolls, all points for that turn are lost. At least 1 die of value must be selected after each roll. If the roll has no significant value, it might be better to only select 1 die preferably a 1, but a 5 will work also and roll again.
Keep an eye on the scores. If a player is way behind and it is nearing the end of the game, more risk might be needed to catch up. To play against the computer Premium Version Only , Just go into settings and click the checkbox next to the player that you would like to be the computer. When the checkbox is clicked, the icon to the right should change from a human to a robot, indicating that the computer has taken over that player.
